Divine Resonance 2021 Logo Rebrand
Summary
After having worked with Divine Resonance to create the album art for their first full-length album Beyond the Breach (2019), they approached me again in 2021 to have me redesign their band logo. However, to stay within their budget, I simplified my normal logo design process to only the most essential steps.
Logo Type
To begin, I asked them to describe what colors they liked and what kind of look and feel they wanted their band to convey. Using this feedback, I then came back with the following font options and asked them which font options they wanted to explore.
Fonts #1, #6, and #9 were chosen, and about a week later I presented them with the following options.
Option #3 was their primary choice, but loving the idea of the badge in Option #1, they asked me to provide a badge option for Option #3. The following designs were what I came up with, and what we eventually settled on.
